Băile Herculane, 13 September

I've seen images of angels hovering about—perhaps carrying a baby, flowers, trumpet, harp, lyre, or in some cases a terrible swift sword, but I've never seen one yoked and ready to haul water. Throughout the ages there have been countless souls (who usually seem to be women) who could have used such help on wings. That hot smelly water we just encountered must truly have some heavenly qualities.
